MatchMyDriver brings customers and professional drivers directly together. From September 10, 2026, customers can quote a reasonable target price for a public ride order and negotiate once per driver after the bids.

Honest, transparent and negotiable: Get to know the new MatchMyDriver

Are you looking for a professional driver for an important journey, or are you a driver and do you want to keep control over your assignments and rates? MatchMyDriver brings customers and professional drivers directly together, without intermediaries.

From today (September 10, 2026) we make connecting supply and demand even easier and fairer. As a customer you can now provide a target price and start one controlled negotiation round. This way, the customer and driver arrive at a suitable price more quickly, while retaining complete freedom.

How does MatchMyDriver work? (in 4 easy steps)

1. Find a driver yourself or place a ride order

Search directly in the database by region, experience and specializations, or place a public ride order for free with all your wishes (date, route, luggage).

2. Drivers bid on your ride

Professional drivers look at your request and independently determine whether and at what rate they want to bid.

3. Compare and choose the best match

After the bidding period you will receive a clear overview of the best options by email. You can easily compare on price, experience and profile.

4. Make agreements directly

Have you made the decision? MatchMyDriver shares the contact details. You agree on the details and payment directly. Fast and transparent.

As a customer you do not always know exactly what a ride costs. From now on you can optionally specify a target price per single journey. This is not a fixed rate or binding Offer, but an invitation to discuss. Drivers immediately see what your expectations are and can adjust their offer accordingly.

One clear negotiation round

Do you receive an offer that is slightly above your budget? From now on you can make a counter offer once per driver.

As a customer, you simply choose:

  1. Immediately agree with the offer received.
  2. Make a counter offer once with a new amount.

The driver then has 3 clear options:

  1. Accept: The new amount becomes the final rate.
  2. Reject: The driver's original offer remains standing.
  3. Take a final bid rate

Why only 1 negotiation round? This way we keep the process fast, clear and avoid dragging out price war.

Why this expansion?

A trip often involves more than just kilometers: waiting time, rush hour, vehicle type and special service all play a role. With the new target price and the one-off negotiation, the customer and driver can agree more quickly on what a ride is really worth.

For the customer:

More control over the price and direct insight.

For the driver:

Retain independence and control over your own rate.
