Registration Requirements

- Valid Dutch or European driver's license (minimum category B)
- Professional liability insurance for passenger transport
- Chamber of Commerce registration as self-employed
- Certificate of Good Conduct if required for your specialization
Professional Requirements:

How do I get in touch with clients?
Clients can contact you directly via our secure messaging system or email. They can also contact you via WhatsApp if you enable this option in your profile. You have full control over how and when you communicate.
Can I also bid on ride assignments?
Yes! Clients can post ride assignments where drivers can bid their own price. You review the ride details (route, date, time, number of passengers) and make an offer with your own rate. After the bidding period (1-100 hours, depending on departure time), the client receives the top 5 bids and chooses which driver they want. This gives you extra opportunities to win jobs. Can I set my own rates?
Absolutely! You are an independent entrepreneur and set your own rates based on your experience, vehicle type and specializations. MatchMyDriver does not interfere with your pricing.
Do I have to accept all rides?
No, you choose which requests to accept. There are no mandatory acceptance rates or penalties for declining rides. You have complete freedom to decide which clients you want to work with.
How do I become visible to potential clients?
Once your profile is approved, it becomes immediately visible in our driver directory. Clients can filter by province, experience, vehicle type and specializations to find the perfect match. You can increase your visibility with a complete profile including photo and all certifications.
What happens after I submit my registration?
We review your application within 2 business days. If everything is in order, we'll send you a confirmation and access to your profile. You immediately start attracting clients during your free trial period.
Do I need special certifications?
This depends on your specialization. For specialized services such as medical transport or VIP services, additional certifications such as First Aid, VCA or Security Driver training can strengthen your profile. More information can be found in the registration form.
