How does posting a ride assignment work?

MatchMyDriver connects you directly with professional drivers throughout the Netherlands. No fixed prices, no hidden costs - drivers bid their own fair price.

1. Post your assignment

Fill in the form with all trip details such as pickup and destination location, date, time and preferences.

2. Drivers bid

Professional drivers view your assignment and bid with their own price. The bidding period varies from 1 to 100 hours depending on your departure time.

3. Choose your driver

You receive the 5 best offers via email and choose the driver that suits you best.

Posting a ride assignment is completely free for clients. You only pay the agreed price to the driver you choose. There are no hidden costs or commissions.

The bidding period depends on your departure time:
  • 0-1 hours until departure: Not available - use the search function
  • 1-12 hours until departure: 1 hour bidding period (urgent)
  • 12-24 hours until departure: 10 hours bidding period (urgent)
  • 24-48 hours until departure: 16 hours bidding period
  • 48-72 hours until departure: 38 hours bidding period
  • 72-120 hours until departure: 60 hours bidding period
  • More than 120 hours until departure: 100 hours bidding period
For urgent assignments (1-24 hours until departure), the assignment automatically closes after 5 bids. After the bidding period, you automatically receive the 5 best offers via email.

Yes! Check "Also post return assignment" in the form. You only need to enter the return date, time and number of passengers. Pickup and destination locations are automatically reversed.

You must provide at minimum: contact details, pickup and destination location, date, time and number of passengers. Optionally you can specify waypoints, luggage, and driver preferences such as wheelchair accessibility or preferred language.

After posting, your assignment becomes visible on the bid-on-rides page for all professional drivers. They can submit their price and availability. You don't need to do anything - just wait for the 5 best offers via email.

In the "Driver Preferences" section you can specify requirements such as wheelchair taxi, TX certification, female driver, taxi bus or preferred language. In the notes field you can explain additional wishes.
