Via A7, A8 and the ring to Schiphol

The usual route runs from Purmerend via the A7 and A8 towards the Amsterdam ring road. Afterwards, the A10, A5, A9 or the route past Badhoevedorp are possible connections to Schiphol. The best choice depends on construction work, morning rush hour and traffic at the Coenplein and Badhoevedorp junctions. An early flight does not automatically mean an empty road. Freight traffic, closures or bad weather can also cause delays outside rush hour. Therefore, plan back to a realistic pick-up time from your desired arrival at the departure hall.

The right departure hall and a clear return journey

Schiphol has Departure Halls 1, 2 and 3. Please state airline and flight number so that the chosen hall can be checked. For a return journey, you do not simply agree on “arrivals hall”. Choose Schiphol Plaza, an exit or a parking location and send a message after the baggage claim. In case of delay, please inform us of the changed landing time. The driver can then explain which waiting time or adjusted pick-up appointment is possible.
